David De Gea will sign a new six-year contract with Manchester United worth over $137 million.

De Gea spurned offers from Juventus and PSG after receiving support from Ole Gunnar Solskjaer following high-profile mistakes late in the season.

De Gea will also be eligible for a testimonial in two years. 

Mason Mount extended his Chelsea contract for five more seasons.

The 20-year-old Mount has been with the club since he was six years old.

Mount, who has yet to play a first-team match with Chelsea, scored 11 goals in 44 appearances on loan under Frank Lampard at Derby County last season.

Edu has officially been unveiled as the new technical director at Arsenal.

Edu was part of Tite's Brazil staff. He will be responsible for the club's scouting and recruitment.

Edu played for Arsenal from 2001 to 2005, and was part of the Invincibles team. 

Samir Nasri has joined Anderlecht on a one-year deal.

The move reunites the 32-year-old Nasri with former Manchester City teammate Vincent Kompany.

Nasri was released by West Ham at the end of last season.

Manchester United gave academy graduates Axel Tuanzebe and Andreas Pereira new contracts.

The 23-year-old Pereira signed through the 2023 season.

Tuanzebe, who played last year on loan at Aston Villa, has committed through the 2021 season.

Gianluigi Buffon made his return to Juventus following one season at PSG.

The 41-year-old will backup Wojciech Szczesny under new manager Maurizio Sarri.

Buffon played 17 seasons for Juventus before moving to PSG.

“This is one of the most beautiful and happiest days of my life. Today I received confirmation that life is incredible and it’s always worth dreaming," said Buffon. 

Frank Lampard has been appointed as Chelsea manager, signing a three-year contract with the club.

The 41-year-old Lampard, who comes from Derby Country, replaces Maurizio Sarri.

Lampard played 13 years at Chelsea as a player.

"I am immensely proud to be returning to Chelsea as head coach. Everyone knows my love for this club and the history we have shared. However, my sole focus is on the job in hand and preparing for the season ahead," said Lampard. 

Rafa Benitez has moved to China, taking over the managerial position at Dalian Yifang.

Benitez left Newcastle following the expiration of his contract.

“What I have found at Dalian is an incredible project that has arrived at the perfect time and this has been a major factor in my decision. We’ve accepted the challenge of leading a superb project with the full backing and confidence of the club’s leadership team," said Benitez, who signed a two-and-a-half year deal.

Marcus Rashford extended his contract with Manchester United through the 2023 season.

The new contract comes with a raise of over $250,000 per week.

"This club has shaped me, both as a player and as a person. So it is such a privilege every time I get the opportunity to wear the shirt. Manchester United has been everything in my life since I arrived here at the age of seven," said Rashford.
